In Uganda there are girls who are kidnapped, raped, and forced to be child soldiers. When, I listen to them, I think, what a desecration of God's beautiful creation. I think of Jesus and how he might have held them in his arms or stopped the words of criticism against them from other people. I think of how he might have stood between them and an angry crowd and protected them. I think of how just a look from His eyes or a few soft words might set them free from all the pain and might catapult them into redemption. That is the Jesus I love, the Jesus I long to be like. And that is why I created Zion Project. Because I believe everywhere, we should be Jesus to people, and bring that bit of heaven down to this earth. I believe that a listening ear, and a little bit of love can change a person's life, can change a person's destiny.

I believe that love and reconciliation to God and others can bring peace and stop the cycle of wars that rage on.
