The Global Marshall Plan, to have the US and G8 industralized nations allocate 1 to 2% initially (and maybe up to 5%) of gross national income to eliminate the most crushing poverty worldwide and solve climate change and other environmental threats.

The Network of Spiritual Progressive suggests educating people about this US House of Representatives resolution, and getting  your church or spiritual  community, other community group or organization etc. to endorse the resolution, seek endorcement from local/State governmental officials and of course lobby Congressman to co-sponsor the bill.  Current bill sponsors are: Representatives Ellison,  Moran and Cleaver.
