Deliberate Acts of Kindess, or the Dakband project as it is known, was created to inspire and empower individuals to change the world. We believe that peace is the outward experience of an inner reality, and that kindness is the birthplace of peace. Dakbands celebrate generous and simple acts of kindness in our communities because there is no such thing as an insignificant act of kindness. Every act of kindness has a ripple effect that allows our community to prosper, and when community prospers, the people within community prosper.
