On Saturday at the Chicago EMC conference when Brian was talking about simple things we can do to impact our world he empahasized voting with the help of our dead presidents (something like that anyway) So my first step is to begin exploring and become more conscious of where and how I spend my money.  I found this site that provides places places where FAIR TRADE can be exercized.  It includes establishments like Starbucks, Carbou Coffee, Traders Joes and other establishments.  The site gives specific products fairly traded in these establishments so you will have to become knowledgeable about what products and where are fairly traded.  With a little effort we can all make a difference.
