In December 2006, as anyone can see, I was imbibing the Secret Message on Shabbat as Kol was learning the English alphabet from Dr. Seuss.
One day I’ll do something extremely witty and resourceful – like the times we’ve spent in Israel and Liberia making new friends – or something. For now I just wanted to get my ear to the door here and see what you all’s ingenious kingdom enterprises are consisting of.
I will say, as a business owner, I’m really energized about the triple bottom line (People-Planet-Profit) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Along those lines I’m trying to get alongside some fair trade / indigenous business with some friends who are Liberian natives.
What else… I like to write. I think I’d like to be in print but so far I’m still sinking in the depths of the blogabyss. I like the thought of the possibility that there’s a need for some new journalism. I just don’t cherish the accompanying thought of starvation; which might fall on me anyway for blogging when I should be bidding.
I really, really hate war and holocausts and things of that nature. I’m into shalom and I do my very best to love the few enemies I’ve made over the years, plus prepare to love enemies I may encounter on any given day. I try not to assume anyone’s going to be my enemy based on generalized categories such as religious preference.
“If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.” – Yeshua
(Mark 3.24) …which means that I do my best to play well with others.
For YHVH’s dream and the liberating King Yeshua’s character –
